Talented NI performers wanted for stage production of Chicago: Teen Edition

Young performers in Northern Ireland are currently wanted for a teenage stage production of the classic musical Chicago.
If you have a teen in the house who loves to sing, dance and act and would shine on the big stage, then this upcoming show might be the perfect opportunity for them.
Just Stage It (JSI) Academy are on the search for talented performers aged 14-18 for Chicago: Teen Edition which will be staged at the MAC Belfast in March.

A spokesperson for JSI said: "We are thrilled to announce that we will be holding open auditions for Chicago the Musical - Teen Edition on Sunday, the 12th of January 2025. This prestigious production is set to take place at the MAC Theatre in Belfast, with performances running from the 6th to the 8th of March 2025.
"We invite talented individuals aged between 14 and 18 to seize this chance to showcase their skills and join us in bringing this exhilarating musical to life. Chicago, a timeless classic, melds engaging storytelling with vibrant music, making it a fantastic choice for our talented young performers to explore their artistic abilities."
JSI strives to give children from across Northern Ireland opportunities that no other local stage school offers - pupils at the academy have performed in London’s West End, Broadway in New York, and Disneyland Paris.
The academy has performed at the launch of Europe’s Musical Theatre International event in The Leicester Curve theatre and pupils regularly have the opportunity to take part in workshops with both West End and Broadway professionals.
Chicago - Teen Edition will be choreographed by Ksenia Zsikhotska, a Professional Dancer from RTE’s Dancing with the Stars.
Adam Gillian, a professional actor and West End performer, will also join the team to provide the young cast with invaluable insights into professional performance.
