Samsung revealed its latest collection of smartwatches in July, and now Sky and Samsung are hoping to entice smartphone users to upgrade with their newest offer. Customers looking to upgrade their handset will receive a smartwatch at no extra cost.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is priced at £43 per month through Sky with an upfront cost of £12 - but the deal has been sweetened to include the new Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic for those who sign up for a contract. This means customers can enjoy a £449 smartwatch that tracks workouts, sleep, health and looks incredibly stylish without having to shell out any additional money.

It's important to note that this deal involves a 36-month contract from Sky, and the cost doesn't include data, so ensure that's taken into account when making purchasing decisions. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is Samsung's top-of-the-range smartphone. It boasts 12GB of RAM, a 5000mAh battery, and a 6.9-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Samsung claims that the Galaxy Watch8 Classic is the most comfortable Galaxy Watch to date. It features a stylish design with a rotating bezel, a stunning 1.3-inch display with 3,000 nits of brightness, 64GB of storage, and the capability to track sleep, heart rate, and workouts whilst on the go, reports the Express.

For those who need an ultra-thin device, Apple has the iPhone Air for £32 a month through a 36-month contract. The newest Google Pixel 10 phones can also be snapped up for those wanting a new phone. EE is selling the Pixel 10 starting at £59.39 a month with 125GB of data included.

Technology experts at the Daily Express awarded the handset a perfect five-star rating in their review of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Technology editor David Snelling commented: "Samsung has done it again and produced another spectacularly good smartphone.

"The Galaxy S25 Ultra looks great, features a stunning 6.9-inch screen, brilliant camera, long battery life, and that supremely quick Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It also gets all of those Galaxy AI upgrades that can organise your life, retouch your photos, chat to you like a human and bring live football scores straight to the home screen."

Nevertheless, he highlighted concerns about the cost and how the AI capabilities could feel rather overpowering. He continued: "There's so much Artificial Intelligence now included, it can all feel slightly overwhelming and only power users (and true AI geeks) are going to get close to scratching the surface of what this device can really do.

"That doesn't make this a bad phone. In fact, it's a very good phone. It just feels like all of Samsung's development is going into the software rather than boosting the hardware. Perhaps the AI boom for smartphones is because there's nothing else manufacturers can add or improve. You might ask yourself why you need a new phone at all - they say AI is the answer."

However, buyers of the phone also gave glowing reviews and added: "I've been previously using Samsung phones, but this one is a different level, above all the others with the ease of juggling between apps and everything else. It's the Best Samsung phone ever."
