The Open Championship: 30 photos as golf fans descend on Portrush
The tournament kicks off on Thursday

Tens of thousands of fans are expected to attend The Open Championship at Royal Portrush this week.
Many have already descended on the seaside town, with the event teeing off on Thursday morning, July 17, and finishing on Sunday.
Around 280,000 spectators from around the world are set to attend the tournament on the North Coast to see the very best golfers in the world battle for the famous Claret Jug.

It comes as a weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for Thursday for parts of NI including Co Antrim. It's set to come into force at 11am and remain in place until 8pm.
The forecaster said: "Showery rain will affect much of Northern Ireland at times Thursday, but is expected to be heaviest in the west. A few thunderstorms are also likely. 10-20 mm of rain could fall in less than a few hours, with 30-40 mm possible over several hours."
