Newtownabbey crash sees one person taken to hospital

One Emergency Ambulance crew and a Rapid Response Paramedic were tasked to the scene

One person has been taken to hospital after a crash in Co Antrim.

The collision happened on Monday morning, September 29, in the Church Road area of Newtownabbey.

A NIAS statement said: "The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 11:21 on Monday, 29th September, following reports of an RTC in the Church Road area, Newtownabbey.

"NIAS tasked one Emergency Ambulance crew and a Rapid Response Paramedic to the scene.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, 1 person was taken to Antrim Area Hospital, by Ambulance."
