Man arrested after sudden death in Enniskillen released unconditionally

Enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death are ongoing

A man arrested after the death of a man in Co Fermanagh has been released unconditionally.

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in his 60s in the Drumbawn Close area of Enniskillen on September 21.

The 42-year-old man was arrested on Sunday and was helping police with their enquiries has been released on Monday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A man arrested yesterday, 21 September, in Enniskillen has today been released unconditionally.

"The 42-year-old was arrested by detectives investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man, aged in his 60s, in the Drumbawn Close area of the town.

"Enquiries to establish the circumstances of the death are ongoing."

On Sunday, a spokesperson said a post mortem examination would be carried out to determine the cause of death.
