It was another bumper day in the Irish League. And there were plenty of big games for fans to get stuck into.
In the Premiership the race for Europe continued to gather pace. Larne started the day in the box seat following their 2-1 win over Linfield on Friday night.
Today it was the turn of Glentoran to try and usurp the Invermen in second spot. They travelled to Stangmore Park knowing victory would put them back in pole position.
Meanwhile, the race for seventh spot - which will secure a European playoff spot - is also nearing its completion.
Eighth-place Portadown trailed seventh-place Cliftonville by five points with two games remaining. Those sides played each other at Shamrock Park and the Ports needed nothing less than a win.
In the Championship, Bangor could seal the title if they could beat Harland and Wolff Welders who were four points behind in second before today's game.
And in the PIL there were six games after Knockbreda vs Rathfriland Rangers was postponed.
