Canelo Alvarez puts his WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA super-middleweight world titles on the line against the undefeated Terence Crawford in Las Vegas

It has been billed as a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ mega fight and, in the early hours of Sunday morning, Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford clash in Las Vegas.


The city has hosted scores of legendary world title fights down through the years and the 65,000-capacity Allegiant Stadium, home to the Las Vegas Raiders, is the venue for the super middleweight showdown.


Canelo puts his WBO, WBC, IBF and WBA super-middleweight world titles on the line for undisputed supremacy at the 168lb division.


The Mexican boasts a professional record of 63-2-2 (39 KOs) and is a world champion across four weight classes. His two defeats came against Floyd Mayweather Jr and Dmitry Bivol.

Crawford is undefeated at 41-0 (31 KOs) and is the first male boxer of the four-belt era to be the undisputed world boxing champion in two weights.

Canelo vs Crawford takes place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday, September 13. However, it will be the early hours of Sunday morning UK time before the main action gets under way.
