He has had a successful career on both stage and screen, but some fans may have forgotten about his role in Channel 4's Derry Girls

He only appeared in two episodes, but this role helped launch his television career.

His character first appears in the very first episode outside Dennis' shop where Erin attempts to flirt with him.

He made another appearance in the fourth episode, but did not return for the show's second season.

After departing from Derry Girls, he went on to feature in Masters of the Air, The Plot Against America and Say Nothing.

Regarding his film roles, the 31 year old actor portrayed Geoffrey Bache Smith in the 2019 film Tolkein.

Fans might be interested to know that the actor has received numerous awards for his stage career, including his portrayal of Scorpius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

In 2017, he bagged three awards including the Jack Tinker Award at the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards, Best Supporting Actor in a Play at the WhatsOnStage Awards and Best Actor in a Supporting Role at the Laurence Olivier Awards.

Fast forward to 2025, he clinched a Rising Star Award at the IFTA Film and Drama Awards for his performances in Masters of the Air, Manhunt and Say Nothing.
