Ethan Galbraith set to miss teammate who 'makes the game easier' for him
Swansea City midfielder Ethan Galbraith has formed a devastating partnership with Conor Bradley
Ethan Galbraith says playing with Conor Bradley "makes the game easier" for him.
The deadly duo tormented Slovakia down the right-hand side on Friday night as Northern Ireland came away with a vital win to boost their World Cup qualification hopes.
Bradley and Galbraith combined for the first goal with the former playing in the latter to cross for Patrik Hrosovsky put through his own net on 18 minutes with the Swansea City man.
"I absolutely love playing with him. He almost makes the game easier for me," he said. "So, yeah, he's a quality player and I love playing with him.
"I think I've been playing quite well. So hopefully I can just keep it up.
"The way we were set up, we had a couple of formations at times that we could switch in and out of.
"I'm trying to get goals and assists. I don't know if that'll go down as an assist tonight, but yeah, I like being in the attacking areas and making stuff happen."
Unfortunately Galbraith and Northern Ireland will be without Bradley on Monday night against Germany after the Liverpool man picked up a soft booking to rule him out of the Windsor Park showdown.
He said: "It's a sore one to be fair. You know, you can see tonight how big and how much of a quality player he is. So it's a major loss, but sometimes things like this happen in football. So we sort of have to just go out and try and do what we do.
"I think we can take a lot of positives from the Slovakia game into Monday night.
"And then on top of it with our fans at home, I think it's a game that we can sort of go into with full belief."
