Canada's MB Chicken team up with the Belfast Giants to open new store
The chain has teamed up with the Belfast Giants for this latest launch
A Canadian chicken chain that's often hailed as 'better than KFC' by fans and critics alike, is set to open its second NI restaurant, marking its first foray into a major UK city.
The new Mary Brown's outlet will be located within The Odyssey, and the launch is being done in partnership with the globally renowned ice hockey team, The Belfast Giants.
Known as Canada's largest and fastest-growing quick-service chicken restaurant, MB Chicken is famous for its Signature Chicken, Taters and locally sourced methodology. The Belfast branch marks the second step in the 55 year old chain's eagerly awaited overseas expansion, following the successful opening of the Lisburn location earlier this year.

The launch day, scheduled for July 24th, promises to be filled with fun and surprises. The public is invited to participate in a unique celebration where they can challenge The Belfast Giants in a 'shoot to win' Hockey game, with numerous treats and prizes up for grabs. Additionally, the first hundred customers will receive FREE Big Mary Chicken Sandwiches.
Those eager to sample the delicious offerings on launch day should head to MB Chicken's Odyssey Place restaurant at 11 am on Wednesday, 24th July 2024.

The new MB Chicken restaurant is uniquely placed to serve those attending world-class sporting, entertainment, and cultural events within the venue, as much as for those seeking alternative and delicious food options in the city. Bringing Canada's favourite quick-service sensations to Belfast, including the Big Mary Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Tenders, Taters, and bone-in Signature Chicken, the restaurant will also serve the iconic, Canadian 'Tater Poutine' - alongside treats such as Halloumi Fries and shakes.
