Boucher Road Belfast crash sees one person taken to hospital

The road is closed on Friday

One person has been taken to hospital after a crash in Belfast.

The Boucher Road is currently closed in both directions on Friday, September 26. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said it received a 999 call at 11.32am.

A statement added: "NIAS tasked 1 Emergency Ambulance crew and a Chief Paramedic to the scene.

"Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, 1 person was taken to Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast by Ambulance."

A PSNI statement said: "The Boucher Road is currently closed in both directions due to a road traffic collision.

"Drivers are advised to avoid the area at this time and delays are to be expected."
