Boots reduces £78 'top class' designer perfume to £25

Boots shoppers are buzzing over a 'spectacular' Versace fragrance deal, now at a lower price in retailer's recent sale. This luxury scent is currently more than £50 off its original cost.
The popular high street health and beauty retailer has launched a big sale on various scents, offering discounts up to 50% and more. Initially marked at £78 for a 100ml bottle, Boots now lists The Dreamer by Versace on its website for £25 – a 67% discount.
The designer label's Dreamer Eau de Toilette comes in an elegant glass bottle, boasting an "alluring, sensual and comforting" scent profile, reports the Mirror. The fragrance pairs aromatic florals with "deep and rich notes of amber" to deliver a 'distinctly masculine' aroma.
Other beauty details also have attractive deals on fragrances, like Superdrug's HUGO Just Different For Him Eau de Toilette (down from £58 to £27) and The Perfume Shop's offer on Davidoff Adventure Eau de Toilette (cut from £66 to £27.99).
However, Boots shoppers have been singing Dreamer Eau de Toilette's praises. One satisfied Boots shopper said: "This, like other Versace perfumes, is a beautiful, long-lasting fragrance at a very good price", reports Glasgow Live.
Another added: "Fantastic. It's lovely for daytime or evening events."
And a third shopper said: "This fragrance is top class, it takes my breath away. I love the smell so much."
However, some customers weren't entirely pleased. One purchaser claimed: "Not the best aftershave I've ever bought. It doesn't last that long."
Another added: "This fragrance has been reformulated so much that it bears no resemblance to the original at all! It has no longevity or anything."
But another shopper noted: "For the price, this is a great fragrance. Wore it on a trip to Paris and got loads of compliments. Smells more expensive than it is."
