Blue Lights star Nathan Braniff in emotional visit to NI Hospice- in photos
"A place that holds a special place in his heart"

Belfast actor Nathan Braniff visited NI Hospice earlier this week 'bringing smiles and stories to the ward'.
The Blue Lights star, who pays police officer Tommy Foster in the BBC series, visited the Hospice on October 7.
Posting on social media, NI Hospice said: "Yesterday [Tuesday] we were delighted to welcome Nathan Braniff, stage and television actor from Belfast and best known for his role in the BBC One series Blue Lights, to our Adults In-Patient Unit at Northern Ireland Hospice.
"Nathan spent time chatting with our patients and staff, bringing smiles and stories to the ward. His visit was especially meaningful, as his grandfather was cared for here at the Hospice, a place that holds a special place in his heart.
"We’re so grateful to Nathan for taking the time to visit and show his support for our work. Visits like his mean so much to our patients and team alike.
"If you’d like to help us continue providing compassionate care and special moments like these, you can support us by purchasing a gift for our In-Patient Unit through our Amazon Wishlist.
"Every item donated helps us make every day a little brighter for our patients and their families."
