Our photographer Justin Kernoghan was on hand to catch all the fun at Oktoberfest on Thursday night as pals started the weekend celebrations a little early

    The weekend has arrived and some pals couldn't wait to get together so started the celebrations a little early at Oktoberfest.

    Our photographer Justin Kernoghan headed down to the tent at Belfast's Custom House Square to capture the fun atmosphere as friends got together to toast to the early start of the weekend on Thursday night.

    The German Beer Festival is running every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until the end of the month with German food and drink served, alongside performances from an Oom Pa Pa band.

    It certainly looked like everyone was having a great night as groups posed happily with big smiles on their faces.
